I started painting in high school because I wanted to be like my sister. We both shared a great teacher who showed us works by Lucien Freud and Richard Diekbenkorn, and always emphasized the idea of “just letting go.” After years away I finally returned to painting in a serious fashion in 2016. I’m grateful to my collectors and commissioners, because of whom I have works scattered across the globe, in places like Los Angeles and Barcelona.

I live in Northern Kentucky with my wife, Haley, and our dogs, Kona and Sophia (pictured - my constant companion).
